To provide information on job offers for our review, we use open-source data, such as job search websites, websites of companies, digests and articles. To provide analysis of salary expectations of candidates, we use information from job search websites, special surveys of candidates, data from professional social networks, as well as data that we get from candidates of the IT-Dominanta recruiting company.

We have been releasing salary surveys for 10 years and we know that in the situation when the market is constantly overheated and the demand for candidates far exceeds the supply, real wages in companies lag behind the supply market by about a year. At the same time, market offers determine the actual cost of hiring employees for companies, that's why, we use open sources to get addition data for our review (these include job search websites, social media groups, our database).The second reason is that in this way we increase the representativeness of data, because by processing open sources we can collect much more information than we receive from companies.
Each position is unique. Some technologies are becoming obsolete with time, while others are getting more and more popular. That's why, each position is different in size.
The sample is calculated based on the total number of positions in the labor market according to the formula of a non-repeated quantitative sample. If same information is published on several job platforms, it is included in the sample only once.
